Khao Chee Chan

This is on the way to Yarnsangwararaam Temple. It is 6 kilometers exited from Sukhumvit Road. The laser crafted of the Attitude of Subduing Mara Buddha on the cliff of Khao Chee Chan draws the attraction of the place. The Buddha indicated the mixed arts during Sukhothai and Lanna Regimes. The height is 130 meters and 70 meter width of the long measure of the Buddha statue in the posture of meditation. The Buddha is named “Phra Phud-Maha-wachira-uttamopaad-Saad-sada. It was crafted in B.E. 2539 (A.E. 1996) to honor King Phumipol, the present King of Thailand. At the chest part of the crafted Buddha contains the Relic from the Great Buddha.
